A few days ago, we received a great word of encouragement on our Google reviews page: “I no longer viewed my daughter as disrespectful but a curious, intelligent teenager.”
This is the best kind of review we could possibly receive. When Sandy used our Kolbe Y™ Index with her youngest daughter, they learned a new way to communicate with each other. Sandy wrote, “It helped me so much to understand her questioning of what I would ask her to do came from her natural instinct to gather information before taking action.”

She discovered that her daughter wasn’t trying to be a pain–it just went against her instincts to act without all the information.
But it gets better! Sandy also works with Guadalupe Charter Schools, where E3 Discovery had the privilege of partnering with teachers, students, and administrators to help the whole school work together as a team. Sandy said that when teachers changed their teaching approaches “to fit the child vs the other way around it made all the difference.” The kids learned to “recognize their own talents and natural instincts.”
This is what we’re all about: recognizing strengths, not dwelling on weaknesses. Sandy discovered that she, her daughter, and her coworkers and students were created with just the right instincts. What a powerful discovery!
Thanks for sharing your story with us, Sandy!
