E3 Discovery Awarded Grant by SME Junior Board

E3 Discovery Receives Grant from Shawnee Mission East Junior Board

In May 2022, E3 Discovery was privileged to receive a local grant from the Shawnee Mission East Junior Board.

The Junior Board at Shawnee Mission East High School is a program where teams of students research the not-for-profit world in monthly meetings. Each team chooses a non-profit organization in the Kansas City area, and then students conduct research and on-site visits in order to represent that organization to a local panel of non-profit executives and philanthropists. After competing in April, winning teams receive grant money to present to their chosen non-profit.

One team of students from Shawnee Mission East selected E3 Discovery, and then hand-delivered the winning grant check to Charles Tietgen, co-founder, and Mary Lemon, Director of Development. We offer our congratulations to these outstanding students and our gratitude for their support of our organization!
